Hurricane Earl is set to hit the area at around 4:00 pm tonight and stick around until tomorrow morning at about 7:00 pm. While the hurricane is set to hit the Carolina coastline, luckily we are about 90 miles inland and should only have to suffer through rain, and winds up to 20 mph at the max.
This would be fine...except for that tonight is preference for sorority recruitment and I will have about 250 ladies out in dresses. We have decided to move forward and not postpone events as the University is staying open and no one seems to concerned about the approaching weather. If it were Seattle we would not postpone recruitment for rain and wind either :)
Hopefully I will not have any PNM's who get caught in the rain like these ladies though...
