I always put a few things on my birthday and Christmas list each year that are totally unnecessary and unrealistic but are just there for fun. For years one of the things that has rotated on and off that list is snowshoes. I love them and always thought that it would be exciting to have my own pair.
This year they were not on the list but this was the year that I opened a funny shaped package and inside was the prettiest shiniest pair of pink/purple snowshoes. It was Christmas magic!
My mom was insistent that we get some use out of them over break...so we all headed to the mountain (well we had to drag my father)
