Back at the Beanery

This is the 2nd Street Beanery in Corvallis...my home this weekend. I have spent countless hours here over the last year and a term. For whatever reason the wood tables, Christmas lights, and somewhat messy interior has become the best place to get work done on big projects and is now where the thesis headquarters has been established. Over the course of this weekend I spent 16 hours in the same booth along the back wall listening to interviews in slow motion and typing them up. It was painful to my brain literally and caused me to hear a repeat of everything I heard in my head like 5 seconds later until just now. Thankfully I am done though with my transcribing...until I get my PhD :)
